Service
Service Above Self is our motto. Rotarian's participate in local and international service projects. Club members can volunteer their time and talent where they are most effective and needed.
Four Avenues of Service are Rotary’s philosophical cornerstone on which club activity is based:
- Club Service focuses on strong fellowship and ensures the club’s effectiveness through fund raising and other vital projects.
- Vocational Service expects Rotarian's to practice high ethical standards and serve others through their vocation.
- Community Service involves Rotarian's projects and activities to improve life in the local Rio Rancho area community.
- International Service encompasses Rotary’s humanitarian effort around the world, promotes global goodwill through travel exchanges and international service projects.
Attendance
Weekly club meetings allows members to enjoy fellowship, organize public services, enrich their personal knowledge, and meet other community leaders. If members miss a meeting they are encouraged to make it up at a nearby Rotary Club or any Rotary International Club across the globe Club Locator. Members may also attend a virtual Member Access Rotary meeting.
Membership - Rotary Shares
To keep our club strong, Rotarian's share the responsibility to bring new men and women into Rotary every year. New and existing members are always encouraged to bring guests to club meetings or invite them to participate in service projects.
Leadership
Rio Rancho Rotary members can volunteer for committees and leadership roles at the club, district or international level. Leadership involvement helps inject new ideas and fresh energy into Rotary.
Dues
Members pay annual dues. These funds support our Rio Rancho Club, Rotary District 5520, and Rotary International. A subscription to Rotary Magazine is provided as part of your dues.
